Clear + Brilliant is a fractional ablative laser suitable for all skin types, using gentle laser technology to create microscopic treatment zones in the skin, stimulating the body's natural healing process and promoting new, healthy skin cells. 

It helps prevent and reverse visible signs of aging, leaving your skin looking and feeling healthier and younger with that brilliant glow. It is also known to help to minimize pores and improve overall skin radiance.

what to expect during your clear + brilliant treatment at zest

Before any in-clinic treatment, our treatment providers complete a 360-degree consultation. Before your first treatment, we start by taking your medical photos. 

Your treatment begins by cleansing the skin, and a numbing cream will be applied to minimize discomfort during the procedure. You will also be given protective eyewear to wear during the treatment to shield your eyes.

The Clear + Brilliant laser device will be gently guided over the skin, creating microscopic treatment zones. You will feel a build-up of heat. The laser energy is designed to stimulate collagen production and promote the growth of new skin cells. To maximize your comfort, we provide you with a fan to help cool the skin throughout the treatment. 

After the laser treatment, SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Vitamin C serum will be applied to the skin to help soothe and brighten. 

Clear + Brilliant takes about a half-hour, with little to no downtime. Some people may have a touch of redness or swelling for a few hours, and your skin may have a sandpapery texture for a few days after. Using your regular skincare products like moisturizer and vitamin C is no problem. 

You'll want to avoid the exfoliator or harsh rubbing, but remember the sunscreen!

how long does a clear + brilliant treatment take?

The numbing cream takes 15 to 20 minutes to work its magic. After, it's time to get down to business with the Clear + Brilliant treatment itself. You may feel a warm sensation and a bit of prickling. And the best part? The whole treatment takes 30 minutes, so you'll be in and out in a flash.

Get ready to be Clear + Brilliant with these pre- and post-care tips! First, it's important to keep your skin protected from the sun and tanning beds for at least one week before and throughout your treatment plan - we want your skin to be its best self!

Before your appointment, avoid using retinol, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), or beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) for 3 to 5 days. If you're planning on getting the treatment in a hairy area, make sure to shave beforehand.

After your Clear + Brilliant treatment, it's time to let that skin heal and rejuvenate! Keep that beautiful face out of the sun, use gentle products, and avoid retinol, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), or beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) for a few days. 

Remember to keep that skin protected with sun protective gear and lotion and avoid activities that make you sweat or flush your face for the next 24 hours - we want that treatment to have the best environment to heal.

Clear + Brilliant is amazing on its own, but it can be enhanced even further with IPL. Science has proven that combining these two treatments can do wonders for your skin!

By pairing Clear + Brilliant with IPL, you'll see a reduction in pigmentation, a boost in hydration, and an improved texture that's even better than if you did each treatment alone. 
STandT - Clear and Brilliant
Clear + Brilliant is known as the “Baby Fraxel” where you expect to see the same amazing results with less downtime and minimal discomfort. During the fractional laser treatment you can expect to feel a warm sensation with a gentle prickle as the laser passes over the skin.
The Clear + Brilliant has no downtime, and you can return back to your daily activities. After your treatment, you may be slightly pink for up to 24 hours. In 2 to 7 days, you will experience the natural exfoliating and shedding of the sun damaged cells for the face, while neck, chest, and hands may take a little longer to heal and show full results.

It is important to keep your treated skin out of UV exposure as the sun causes most of the visible signs of aging. To maintain and enhance your results, it is important to wear sun protective clothing, wear a minimum of SPF 50 and reapply your sunscreen as directed on the bottle. Results may be enhanced by an antioxidant serum or what is recommended by your service care provider.

After one Clear + Brilliant session, patients have reported that their skin felt smoother, softer, brighter, and with an improved tone for a more youthful, radiant glow. Depending on your skin concerns and goals, it is recommended to have a series of 4 to 6 treatments or once every season to maintain desired results. This treatment can also be coupled between more invasive laser resurfacing treatments

It is important for you to disclose and share your complete medical history with your service provider which includes supplements, prescribed medication and lifestyle to ensure you are a candidate for Clear + Brilliant.

Clear + Brilliant is safe for most skin types. Patients who are breastfeeding, pregnant, have autoimmune disorders, improper wound healing, some skin conditions, recent sun exposure (in the last month) and certain medications cannot undergo this treatment.
