Each time we preform a treatment we cover the area as completely as possible and break up as much ink as possible. Does it hurt?
It’s as easy as a lunch time facial! You can address your skin tone and texture with no pain. Depending on your skin concerns and goals the treatment provider will determine which method is best for you. Microdermabrasion will feel like a light textured pad, grazing over the skin – with no pain. As for the zest peel and IPL you may feel a warm and prickly sensation during the treatment but, it is overall very comfortable.
What is the downtime like?
For each procedure, there is no downtime! You are able to resume back to your daily activities with a more hydrated, brightened and refreshed look.
How do I maintain my results?
With all treatments, it is important to incorporate these treatments as part of your skin care regime. If possible, we recommend a minimum of one treatment every season and up to one treatment every month to maintain and achieve your desired skin goals. It is important to avoid UV exposure and it is highly recommended to wear sun protective clothing and wear and reapply an SPF 50.
When do I expect to see results?
The lunch time facial – microdermabrasion; you can expect to see your results instantaneously! Patients have reported a more even toned, bright and hydrated complexion. As you incorporate more sessions into your skin regime you can fight the early signs of aging such as, fine line, pigmentation and dull texture. The glowing Zest peel and IPL will take up to 2 – 4 weeks to see changes and may take up to 3 sessions to see the desired full results. This allows enough time for the skin to regenerate and slough off all the sun damaged skin cells to reveal new, glowing skin.
Who can get this treatment?
It is important for you to disclose and share your complete medical history with you service provider which includes supplements, prescribed medication and lifestyle to ensure you are a candidate for Microdermabrasion, The Zest Peel and IPL. Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive mechanical exfoliating treatment that is safe for most skin types; even expecting mothers! Although, this treatment is not intended for patients who have serious skin issues. The Zest Peel and IPL are safe for most skin types, patients who are breastfeeding, pregnant, auto immune disorders, improper wound healing, some skin conditions, recent sun exposure (in the last month) and certain medications cannot undergo this treatment.
