Coolsculpting is very tolerable while still remaining comfortable. Patients make experience minor tenderness and sensitivity as the treatment begins, but should settle down during the rest of your treatment; allowing you to relax, catch up on your favourite movie, emails and even nap while undergoing the procedure.
Results will vary depending on every individual’s body composition. The treatment will require up to to see results; this allows enough time for the fat cells to naturally be eliminated through your body. The final results may take up to 6 months.

CoolSculpting helps to eliminate those stubborn fat pockets throughout the body. Unfortunately CoolSculpting is not a weight loss treatment where results are not permanent. It is still possible to gain weight in the treated areas if you are not maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Although this weight gain will not be subject in only the areas where CoolSculpting was treated, it will be evenly distributed throughout your body.
Each individual is unique and our service providers will create a custom plan and recommend the best treatment course. You should expect to see 20 – 25% of fat reduction in the treated area after a single session if you are the appropriate candidate for CoolSculpting. Results will also vary depending on which area is being treated.
It’s as easy as a lunch time facial! You can address your skin tone and texture with no pain. Depending on your skin concerns and goals the treatment provider will determine which method is best for you. Microdermabrasion will feel like a light textured pad, grazing over the skin – with no pain. As for the zest peel and IPL you may feel a warm and prickly sensation during the treatment but, it is overall very comfortable.
For each procedure, there is no downtime! You are able to resume back to your daily activities with a more hydrated, brightened and refreshed look.
With all treatments, it is important to incorporate these treatments as part of your skin care regime. If possible, we recommend a minimum of one treatment every season and up to one treatment every month to maintain and achieve your desired skin goals. It is important to avoid UV exposure and it is highly recommended to wear sun protective clothing and wear and reapply an SPF 50.

The glowing Zest peel and IPL will take up to 2 – 4 weeks to see changes and may take up to 3 sessions to see the desired full results. This allows enough time for the skin to regenerate and slough off all the sun damaged skin cells to reveal new, glowing skin.

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive mechanical exfoliating treatment that is safe for most skin types; even expecting mothers! Although, this treatment is not intended for patients who have serious skin issues. The Zest Peel and IPL are safe for most skin types, patients who are breastfeeding, pregnant, auto immune disorders, improper wound healing, some skin conditions, recent sun exposure (in the last month) and certain medications cannot undergo this treatment.

Patients who are breastfeeding, pregnant, are allergic to Botulinum toxin A products and certain medications cannot undergo this treatment. If you have undergone dental work 2 weeks prior to your treatment and have a scheduled dental appointment 1 month after your neuromodulator appointment, it is best to reschedule. If you have flu-like symptoms or have a scheduled vaccination (including COVID-19 vaccine) 2 weeks prior or post from your scheduled appointment, it is best to reschedule.
Our Health Canada approved Dermal Fillers are formulated with an incorporated anesthetic. Therefore, during the initial injection the anesthesia is instantaneously in effect. Although this treatment can be tolerated without additional topical anesthetic, some clients are comforted with the added support. Ice may also be used post treatment for additional comfort.
The results are instant! There may be slight swelling from the initial injection and it will take 2 – 6 weeks for the filler to settle and soften into place to see the full results.
All our fillers are safe and Health Canada approved. Some common side effects include: soreness, sensitivity, redness, itchiness, swelling, and slight bruising in the treated area. These side effects are normal and will subside in a few days. Side effects such as risk of bleeding and bruising may be enhanced if you are taking substances such as Aspirin® (acetylsalicylic acid), Advil®, Motrin® (ibuprofen), herbal supplements such as fish oils and omegas, prescription blood thinners, and green tea or alcohol.
Dermal Fillers are comprised of a gel form of Hyaluronic acid; which is naturally produced sugar molecule in our bodies. This gel ads structure in areas that have lost volume. When the filler is injected into the treatment site is acts as an implant; restoring volume and shape. For this reason, fillers are natural metabolized by our lymphatic system and will go through the body naturally. Since fillers are naturally metabolized, if you stop having your treatments you will return to where you have started from.

You can expect to see hair reduction after the first session of your treatment plan. The hair follicles will start to shed 2 weeks after each session. Moderate hair reduction is achieved through multiple and consecutive sessions and following your treatment plan outlined by your service provider. Duration of results are dependent on how pigmented your hair is, thickness and if you are following the suggested treatment plan. Results can last up to years but, vary from each individual patient. Some patients can be required to do a “touch-up” after a few months to years following the completion of the treatment plan for maintenance.
Laser Hair Removal is considered painless and there is no need for topical anesthesia. You may feel a warm sensation after each pulse and a short rubber band snap in areas with high hair density. After, the treatment you may feel slight itchiness and may experience some redness. These experiences are normal and side effects will subside in a few days.
Come prepared and have all treated areas shaved prior to your appointment and without prior sun exposure. Treatment times vary depending on the amount of hair density and how large the treatment site is. During the treatment an ultrasound gel is placed over the skin as a cooling agent and the laser is applied onto the skin. After the treatment, avoid sun exposure, chemical exfoliates, retinoid, plucking, waxing and depilatory devices. Always wear a minimum of SPF 50 on all treated areas. After 2 weeks, you will start to experience the hair follicles shed.
